Dr Dan Gwynne

I completed my medical degree through the University of Queensland’s rural clinical school in Toowoomba; where I continued my residency before commencing full-time service in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) as an Aviation Medical Officer in 2012.

My work with RAAF has afforded some amazing opportunities working in multinational trauma teams and caring for some of the most interesting and underprivileged peoples. I have also enjoyed unique clinical experiences with training in expeditionary medicine, occupational medicine, aviation medicine, aeromedical evacuation operations and aviation mishap investigation and prevention.

I am a member of the Australasian Society of Aerospace Medicine and am a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner with CASA. My interests include skin cancer medicine, paediatric and family medicine and musculoskeletal medicine.

I have joined the team at Nautilus Health to diversify my clinical practice to complement my ongoing military practice. I hope to facilitate the practices holistic ethos through allowing time to talk and listen; helping you to identify and prioritise your health needs. As a husband and father of 4 children negotiating work, study and a family life I know there can be numerous barriers to taking proper care of ourselves. Together, we will implement effective and practical strategies to improve your health and enjoyment of life.
